About Enabling the How
Our call to action at 5th Place is to focus on developing emotional fitness and mental well-being in order to create positive change in the world. Join us, Chantal and Matthew, co-owners of 5th Place, in our escapades every week as we stumble and trip, dance and whirl our way through very normal and not so normal weeks in their drive to make the world a better place. This “How” comes in many different forms and in this case it comes in the form of sharing life, loves, and loss. It’s also a whole lot of what living is like in South Africa.

We learnt a great deal by having a house guest. Visitors that spend a night or more bring a different energy into the home. They teach us things about ourselves that we may not have been aware of.
A perfect day
Some days are perfect, unplanned and perfect. We had one of those. A warm breakfast start, a robust, rolling singing middle and a green and gold victory to cap it off. Perfect.
