Are we doing enough? We’re talking about making the world a better place. Here at 5th Place, we thought there was room for improvement, which is why we spent a year finding out how. In the end we came up with the notion that any meaningful change starts with me.

5th Place comprises Chantal and Matthew and together we have developed a model, process and tool of how we structure, store, represent and regulate our inner feeling states. It’s called Shape of Emotion. When you use Shape of Emotion you can take any difficult emotion like stress, anxiety, sadness, anger, fear, remorse, guilt – and so on and make these kinds of emotions stop and go away.

As implausible and maybe far-fetched as it sounds, it’s true. We have the proof to back up the claim from the hundred-plus individuals we have worked with thus far. We have also found that when you start to regulate and embrace your emotions with Shape of Emotion you ultimately feel better and become a fuller, more whole, human being. As a result, you engage and connect more meaningfully with other human beings, your community, society, nature and the environment. And the world becomes a better place.
