Creating awareness about mental health
To celebrate Youth Day 2019 we were invited to share Shape of Emotion at the Yivani Mbali Foundation youth dialogue. The dialogue was held at the spectacular Villa Arcadia in Parktown, Johannesburg — a national heritage site.
The dialogues are conversations aimed at increasing knowledge and awareness of mental health and are facilitated around the Presencing Model from Otto Scharmer’s Theory U.
At the end of the dialogue we took the participants through an Emotional Fitness Class where we dialled-down a difficult emotion and dialled-up a supportive emotion.
