Accepting what you can’t change
Life does not always go as planned. And when things go awry it can result in great distress. When things cannot be controlled it causes deep anxiety. We want to control our lives, plan every detail, seek productivity out of every last second. When the bus is late or the product is faulty it can be tempting to see it as negative, disastrous, delaying, etc etc…but if we just pause and accept what we cannot change, what we have no control over, then maybe we will see the gift, the opportunity, the “it was meant to be this way” realisation.
